George was a signalman.
George and Vi only had one child, my husband, David John born in Bonchurch.
They left the Island when David was about 4 years old and lived in Feltham, Mx.
George was a signalman at Waterloo until he took early retirement in 1968. Thye returned to Brading then. He did go back on to the Island railway until his full retirement.
George died in 1993.
