I have information on William, Andrew, and Stephen.
Andrew I understand to be my 3xg grandfather. This is where the problem
lies! I have been told that Andrew son of Anthony Hendy and Mary Jeffrey
died young, and therefore is not anyone's ancestor.
My Andrew Hendy married Martha URRY 14 Oct 1824 in Shorwell. Censuses show
him as born Mottistone.
Has anyone an Andrew Hendy born in Mottistone at the right time but with a
different set of parents?
One source (sorry, do not have this to hand at the moment!) showed an early
death for one of the other children of Anthony and Mary, possibly this has
been wrongly passed on as death of Andrew -
