The Isle of Wight is home to the branch of the HAYLES family which I am researching. They have occasionally moved around Hampshire in the late 19th Century but mainly resided on the island. They are a very old Isle of Wight family, mentioned as far back as the local parish records go, back to the mid 16th Century.
